Gold Creek Pond, PNW Elopement

This Gold Creek Pond Elopement was the Pacific Northwest Elopement of my dreams!

Stephanie and David’s Gold Creek Pond Elopement in Washington, gave the best views of blue lakes and mountain reflection dreams that make PNW elopements so amazing!

Stephanie and David got ready in their cars right next to each other when we arrived at the elopement location. It was so special that they were able to be so close without really seeing each other until the first look! This perfectly described how laid back and easy going this whole day was. No fancy or elaborate plans, just these two celebrating their love. I am so grateful to be a part of Stephanie and David’s PNW elopement and all the love and beauty that surrounded them this day!

In 2019, Steph reached out to me before my 2020 books had even opened! She knew she only wanted me to capture her special day. I felt so honored and grateful that she knew she wanted me to photograph their day no matter what. I met with them at 10 barrel brewing, over some good food and beer while they were visiting portland ! We connected right away over-sharing so many similar experiences and it truly felt like we’ve been friends for ages! I knew it was the perfect fit after meeting them and I was counting down the days until their wedding!

Like so many other couples in 2020, their wedding was postponed because of Covid-19. After trying to plan on a new wedding date, they decided to just ditch their big wedding plans because they couldn’t wait any longer to marry each other!! They decided on a simple elopement at Gold Creek Pond in Washington with their closest family and friends.

Steph and David eloped on a weekday, so we had the entire place to ourselves. They made such special memories by that little blue pond. Their elopement day turned out to be even better than expected. It was just the most beautiful day celebrating David & Steph’s love. This intimate PNW elopement at Gold Creek Pond turned out to be the most perfect day to promise forever together!
