This Zion National Park elopement fulfilled all my desert elopement dreams.
We started the day at the house that they rented with the bride Shyanna. She got ready there and put on her beautiful lace wedding dress with her matching checkered vans before we headed to the park. The groom got ready in a nearby cabin with his father and brother and it had the prettiest views of the Red Rocks and the park. After they both got ready with their closest friends and family, we all headed into zion national park. We started the hike to the canyon Overlook for their ceremony location and it was so much fun.
They originally wanted to elope in Thailand in Phuket, but with Covid, traveling overseas made things more complicated so we decided on a plan B and to stay in the states, but to elope somewhere beautiful they’ve never been to before, and Zion was the perfect place.
There’s something about a national park elopement that is so special. Especially at Zion National Park. The scenery doesn’t compare. Surrounded by Red Rocks towering over us and beautiful Canyons it’s just the most beautiful location to get married.
The bride and groom are one of the sweetest couples ever. I actually met Shyanna and Adam in person when she booked an in-home session with me in 2019. During the session, we bonded over our mutual love for pizza, and l found out that is how they met! Their love story started when they met working together at Pizza Hut. They are the sweetest couple and they’re just so in love so it made capturing their day so easy and effortless.
Although they had to keeps things intimate, this Zion National Park elopement was perfect.
