This Palace of Fine Arts Wedding in San Francisco was the perfect intimate day.
Johnny and Rodolfo are such a vibe! They are such a sweet couple and I had the best time shooting their micro wedding at The Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco. These two actually booked me back in 2019 before the pandemic hit. Like every other couple, their plans had to change.
After making multiple wedding venue changes, they decided to ditch their grand wedding and wanted to elope on the Oregon Coast! We discussed plans for their Oregon elopement but ended up deciding on a San Fransisco micro wedding. J and R and originally from San Francisco and that is where both their families live. They wanted their families to be able to witness them get married so off to the bay we went!
The Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco was the perfect intimate location for their San Francisco micro wedding! This venue is a San Francisco landmark and is so beautiful! It is surrounded by beautiful gardens and amazing architecture with so many locations to shoot wedding photos.
They held their ceremony in the center of the outdoor space with their closest friends and family surrounding them. It was so intimate and special. They kept things modern and timeless with the simple ceremony decor and a live violinist playing during the ceremony. After the ceremony, we took photos around the Palace of the Arts! There were so many gorgeous locations and we had so much fun exploring the grounds,
After the intimate ceremony and wedding photos at the Palace of Fine Arts, we made our way to Battery Spencer to shoot some beach wedding photos. This is one of the best viewpoints for the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco! That San Francisco fog was definitely rolling on this day but the bride was peeking out over the clouds which looked stunning!
We then made our way to Wayfare Tavern to meet their guest for a wedding reception lunch! It was the perfect way to end their celebration with their family and friends. It was the perfect space to have an intimate lunch with all of their guests! They drank champagne, had some cake and everyone had a great time! For their guest book, they customized a pair of Nike Blazers, and had everyone there sign it! It was one of my favorite touches that they added to their day that was so true to them!
I am so glad I got to be a part of this day and shooting their Palace of fine Arts Wedding was such a dream!
