What better way to celebrate an anniversary than an anniversary photo shoot?! Anniversary photo shoots are a fun way to celebrate a new milestone together! Then, you have memories to look back on from different stages of life! Who says the couple’s photoshoots stop after the wedding day?! Since you’re already all dressed up & ready, head to your favorite dinner spot after and make it into a date! One of my favorite restaurant currently in Portland, Oregon is;
Lechon (go during their Happy Hour if you can!) Delicious tapa dishes and the bone marrow is a must try! Tip; make a reservation before hand because they are always busy, but so worth the try!
Emily & Joe wanted an adventurous photoshoot so we headed to Latourell Falls, Oregon!
Latourell falls in Portland, Oregon is one of my favorite waterfalls on the Columbia River Gorge! It is just a short drive from Portland. This waterfalls is also one of the most photogenic waterfalls on the Columbia River Gorge. What makes this a very intriguing is how it only takes about 5 mins from the parking lot to walk down to the base of the waterfall. Easy access also makes it one of the most popular and busy waterfalls along the Columbia River Gorge so getting there early on a weekday is suggested or prepare to wait for a parking lot to open up or 20 people gathering around the waterfall to get their shot. It is one of my go-to locations for couple sessions & engagement shoots! For this anniversary photoshoot at Latourell Falls, Oregon we got lucky with the weather & crowds. Luckily, there we got good weather and light crowds!
I went to school with Emily & Joe and I was so excited to shoot photos of them!
Emily, Joe and I all went to University of Oregon together! I remember going to a party and meeting Emily as we walked in a group together. She was so sweet and we have been friends ever since. Joe and Emily met at U of O and shared their love for sports and the outdoors. They are truly a beautiful couple. Fast forward a couple of years later, I receive an email from Emily. She asked me to do an anniversary shoot for her and Joe in Portland when they came back to visit her dad for Thanksgiving. When she reached out to me I was so excited! I was so happy to see Emily after so many years. I loved getting to get to photograph these two hotties! It was such a fun day at Latourell Falls, Oregon! I mean, just looking at this set of photos, I think we can all agree that they are pretty darn hot!
