Urban City Couple Session – Portland | Portland Couples Photographer

One thing I love about being a Portland couples photographer is all the amazing city locations that we have to shoot in! Downtown Portland, especially the Pearl District area and Industrial District is filled with so many stunning spots and cute corners. The whole city is a perfect location for any photoshoot. I had the best time shooting in the city with Linh and Alex.

Linh is my go-to hairstylist in Oregon. She is my hair savior whenever I need a hair artist for my self-love sessions and she is so talented at what she does! Her boyfriend Alex is leaving for the airforce soon. She told me she wanted to get some cute couples photos with her man before he leaves. After working together countless times, I was excited to be able to return the favor to her. She loves the city vibe so I was excited to take them to downtown Portland for this couples session. For this urban couples shoot, we started near the Pearl District in downtown Portland. We shot all around the city and even found the cutest olive green wall to use as a backdrop! It was one of my favorite locations that we shot at. After adventuring around the city, we made our way to the final location! We found the coolest rooftop parking garage with the prettiest city views of downtown. I always suggest to wear what you’re comfortable in and to stick to neutrals because then the photos always come out super timeless and clean!

Linh & Alex were relaxed and so easy to work with. These two are sweetest and the love for each other was so cute and contagious. They also had the best style and gave so much outfit inspiration for any city engagement or couples photos! I had the best time spending the day with them in the city, finding new spots and adventuring around. It was such a good day in Downtown Portland with the cutest couples photos to show for it!
