Creative Mother Daughter Photoshoot Ideas –

This family studio shoot at Cream Creative Space in Portland was so unique! I’m used to doing a ton of mommy and me shoots where the child is either a baby or toddler, but getting to do a mother-daughter shoot with a pre-teen was so much fun! One reason for very obvious reasons; they can follow directions better and do certain poses that you can probably imagine a baby or toddler not doing well. Also, growing up with a single mom, being able to capture these mother and daughter bonds really holds something deep for me and it’s something I look forward to doing when I get these types of inquiries! It created a whole different dynamic to the shoot and we were able to capture creative, editorial vibes!

Lita and Sadie were so much fun to work with! They were down for anything and made this shoot flow so easily. They trusted my vision and the creative mother-daughter photoshoot ideas I had! I am in love with how every photo turned out because we did such a fun twist on normal family photos. Their bond was so sweet & I know that they cherish these photos forever!

This Mother-Daughter Duo was so stylish! For their first outfit, they wore matching sets. I loved that they picked fun and bold colors for one of their outfits; the pastel green and blues really looked so good together especially being in a studio setting where it’s super clean and minimal! Of course, they paired this outfit with the infamous Aritzia TNA socks! They kept their second outfit cozy and timeless with matching cream sweaters and ribbed black pants. I just can’t get over how cool these two were. I had the best time with them shooting in the studio!
