This Coopers Hall Portland Wedding day for Merrit and Zach was everything they had envisioned and more!
When I first met Merrit & Zach I fell in love with them and their love for each other! The bride and groom met at a mutual friend’s party. Merrit then invited Zach to be her date for her holiday office party and that night started their journey together! Zach proposed on one of their favorite hiking trails in Arizona and now they are here! Finally tying the knot at their Coopers Hall Portland Wedding!
I had the best time working with these two and seeing their vision come to life! Merrit knew exactly what she wanted for her wedding day which I loved. They have such great style and eye for detail. Their wedding day came to be even better than they had envisioned!
When M + Z told me they chose Coopers Hall for their Portland Wedding venue, I was so excited! Last year, I shot this Modern Urban Coopers Hall Portland Wedding and I fell in love with the venue. The urban, industrial interior creates the perfect backdrop for wedding ceremonies and receptions. The indoor ceremony was held in the barrel room. This space was decorated with hanging plants, string lights, and blank white walls which makes the perfect canvas for any wedding day. They had a cocktail hour out on the patio with their guests while they flipped the ceremony space into the reception!
Cooper Hall in Portland is located in the heart of downtown Portland! It is also a winery and taproom and one of my favorite places to come for a drink. If you are looking for a wedding venue in Portland, definitely check out Coopers Hall! As a Portland wedding photographer, I will never get over those high ceilings and the abundance of natural light at this venue!
When I asked them what their vision for the day was, they responded with, “Modern aesthetic combined with natural elements and a touch of romance” & “Nothing trendy or traditional, opting for a classic and simple design that remains modern & timeless”. The decor and details all came together so beautifully & achieved Merrit’s vision!
I loved the non-traditional elements that they incorporated throughout the day! Merrit wore a blue veil which was such an edgy statement and so unique! Also, their wedding day landed on M’s dad’s birthday, so they made a surprise cake and sang happy birthday to him during their reception and it was so sweet! The bridesmaids wore mismatched neutral-toned dresses paired with bridesmaid hoop flowers for their bouquets, which was my absolute favorite!
Needless to say, their wedding day was absolutely beautiful! I loved the modern, edgy feel mixed with boho elements and wedding decor! I loved shooting this Wedding at Coopers Hall Portland and I couldn’t be more excited for the newlyweds!
