While I have been an Oregon Wedding Photographer for quite some time now, I will never get over when couples give me the space and trust to document their special moments. Especially when it comes to bridal portraits. Post-wedding, Jess, and Jay wanted to relive their special day once more through this Portland Oregon Studio Bridal Portraits. Now, I don’t know about you, but I absolutely adore studio bridal sessions. Not only do you get the EPIC beautiful lighting, but the space is a blank canvas and you can make it however you want it to be. These studio bridal portraits are some of my favorite TO DATE and I am completely obsessed with how each and every one of these turned out.

What Are Bridal Portraits?

Bridal portraits are a specific photoshoot dedicated to taking photos of the bride and groom. Bridal portrait sessions typically take place on a different day than the wedding day for a wide variety of reasons. However, the most common reason a couple may opt to have bridal portraits done is to be able to have more dedicated time to their wedding portraits. This could be because, on the day of the wedding, there wasn’t enough dedicated time for solo bridal portraits. Or maybe the weather wasn’t the best and you want to make the most out of your bridal portraits. Whichever the case may be, bridal portrait sessions are a great way to get glam once again and relive one of the most special moments in your entire life.

For these Portland Oregon Studio Bridal Portraits, we wanted to keep things elegant and editorial. It was important that not only Jess and Jay incorporate their traditional wedding attire, but wedding attire from Jess’ cultural background as well. With a quick outfit change and poof, the entire vibe of their bridal portrait session has been shifted. We were able to incorporate some of their wedding details and capture some gorgeous flatlays before using the blank space of this Portland Oregon studio space to our advantage. As I mentioned before, studio bridal portraits are perfect especially if you’re wanting to get creative. Utilizing the amazing natural light that comes in through this Portland Oregon studio space was exactly what we needed. We were able to play around with shadows and make the most of this insanely epic studio bridal portrait session.
