This wedding at Pomeroy Farm was the perfect Day celebrating Amy and Ezequiel.
Pomeroy Farm is a beautiful Washington wedding venue that is located just 30 minutes north of Portland. They have beautiful grounds including a historic log house, barn, and blacksmith shop, along with beautifully maintained gardens. Pomeroy Farm is such a gorgeous space. It is the perfect blank canvas for any wedding day and that is why A + E chose this venue.
Amy and Ezequiel wanted to incorporate Mexican-themed decor throughout their day. They achieved this so well with all their thoughtful details! A+E stung papel picado hanging inside the covered area, cactus plants spread throughout the venue, a Mariachi band. They also had cantarito, which is a traditional Mexican drinking mug at their wedding. It was so beautiful and special. I love when couples incorporate such important elements like this into their day.
Amy and Ezequiel’s first date was at the Portland Cinco De Mayo festival. These details perfectly brought their love story together full circle! They served the most delicious Mexican food to their guests. Ezequiel’s grandma and aunties made all the food and served each plate to their guests. It was amazing and I still can’t get over those homemade corn tortillas!
During their reception, we headed to the outdoor space at Pomeroy Farms to hit pinatas! It was a hit for the kids and we all had so much fun. This is such a fun idea for any wedding especially if there are kids there!
At the end of the night, all the guests were on the dance floor which was the perfect ending to their wedding day. It was such a beautiful day! I had the best time capturing Amy and Ezequiel’s Pomeroy farm wedding in Yacolt, Washington!
