The perfect evening at the Gorge shooting these outdoor engagement photos

This evening with Rachel and Derek shooting these outdoor engagement photos at Cascade Locks in Oregon was the perfect night! 

Rachel and I went to high school together back in the day and I was so excited when she reached out. She told me that she was recently engaged and wanted me to shoot their engagement photos! 

Rachel and I chatted and chose an engagement photo location in Oregon. The Gorge is one of my favorite places to shoot engagement photos in Oregon. The views of the gorge and all the scenery around it are just so beautiful.  There are many different spots and locations to shoot all over this area. She wanted an outdoor engagement photos location so this was the perfect spot!

First, we met at  a location with the prettiest rock wall backdrop. Rachel wore a gorgeous Maroon engagement dress while Derek Wore a simple button-up shirt with a tie. It was that they wanted to dress up a little bit more for their engagement photos!   They both look gorgeous and I had so much fun running around. 

After that we moved to the second location.  Rachel changed into a sparkly white dress and looked like a princess! Always recommend bringing two outfits for engagement photos that way you can have more variety in your final gallery! 

 The second location was overlooking the Gorge and the mountains surrounding it.  It was the prettiest night at Cascade Locks in Oregon.  We got up here just as the sun was setting so the colors in the sunset were unreal. 

This was such a fun night just hanging out with an old friend and her lover boy at the Gorge. I’m so excited for their wedding at The Abernathy Center in October!
