Minimal &  Intimate Elopement at Alvord Desert in Oregon

This Alvord Desert Oregon elopement was the perfect day with C + P.

C & P first reached out to me a few months beforehand. I felt an instant connection with them from the start! They didn’t have a set plan for their elopement yet, but they just knew that they wanted to do it at Alvord Desert in Oregon! They told me that this location is very special to them. This is where they first met and where their love story started.

My boyfriend (Jeffy) and I love visiting the Alvord desert. It’s one of our favorite little getaways in Oregon and we make a trip out each year. It’s about an eight-hour drive so it makes for the perfect little vacation. Not to mention, it’s so pretty out there and such a fun place to camp with no one around.

The Elopement Day came and we planned on meeting out in the desert. We didn’t have a timeline or a plan And just wanted to go with the flow. C + P we’re so carefree and focused on enjoying their day.

They started the day getting ready In the desert. They parked their car and set up a tent so C could get ready for their desert elopement. Then it was time for the first look. These are always some of the sweetest moments and some of my favorite moments to capture.

The desert is far from everything which makes it hard to get an officiant. I decided to get ordained and officiate the wedding myself instead of trying to find someone to do it! I was nervous but so excited to pronounce them husband and wife. It was so special to be a part of something so big like this. My boyfriend got to be one of the witnesses as well. Then we had to drive around the desert and find someone to be the second Witness. Luckily, we found someone who is mountain biking who agreed to be the witness and it all turned out perfectly!

Finally, after the elopement, we ran around the desert and took some bridal photos of the newlyweds. There was no one around and we had so much fun popping champagne and running around the desert. the night and did underneath the Stars and lighting fireworks. This was seriously such a fun elopement and I couldn’t think of a more perfect way for C & P to get married!
