This Romantic Wedding at the Gray Gables Estate in Portland Oregon was everything that Taylor and David wished for.
Because of covid, Taylor and David had to postpone their wedding day just like so many other couples last year. Everyone was so excited to finally be celebrating these two and to be there for their big day.
When they first inquired with me, I was so excited to be the wedding photographer on their big day. We initially met up at one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in Portland, Por Que No to meet in person and chat about their upcoming wedding day. We connected right off the bat and ever since then, our friendship has grown.
This Portland wedding was held at the Gray Gables Estate wedding venue. This venue was so gorgeous. It was perfect place for Taylor and David to get married. They have beautiful botanical gardens covering the estate and the most beautiful ceremony space. T + D kept the decor simple, which made for such an elegant and romantic day.
I loved the intentional details that they incorporated into their day. For example, they said their vows in front of their bridesmaids and groomsmen which was so sweet and left everyone teary-eyed. They also incorporated their Cambodian traditions by changing into a traditional Khmer wedding fit to greet their guests into reception. My favorite thing with cultural weddings is when they go around to each table to greet their guests and have to play these games to receive gifts from the table. Those photos are my absolute fav since they can be so funny!
They ended the night with a grand exit with the wedding guest holding sparklers. It was so much fun and really such a beautiful day. Taylor and David are one of the sweetest couples ever. I am so grateful to have been a part of their portland wedding at the Gray Gables Estate!
